COORDINATOR OF STUDENT SUCCESS

The Coordinator of Student Success is a member of the President’s Advisory Cabinet (PAC) and reports to the Vice President of Instruction and Student Services. Responsibilities include the following:

  1.  Provide leadership for the Student Success and Career and Transfer Centers with emphases on providing outstanding service to students and ease-of-access to services in welcoming and supportive environment.

  2.  Liaise with the Director of Admission, Records, and Financial Aid to develop a "one-stop" access to academic and support services.

  3.  Provide leadership for the Dual Enrollment program by a) enhancing relationships with high school partners, b) refining the enrollment process, and c) identifying opportunities to expand dual enrollment opportunities including extensive outreach efforts to potential students.

  4.  Ensure compliance with all accreditation standards related to student success and dual enrollment.

  5.  Work cooperatively with other Student Services programs and with the instructional divisions of the college, community and public agencies.

  6.  Manage all budgets relating to the Student Success Center, Governor’s School and Dual Enrollment.

  7.  Coordinate and manage the summer Governor’s School Program.

  8.  Ensure appropriate services are offered to evening students.

  9.  Supervise Career Coaches

  10.  Other duties as assigned.
