timer program

Your work on timer program has been received. Scroll down through the document to see any comments I might have inserted, and my final comment at the end.

I see ten lines with two numbers on each line. The first number is the time that has passed and the second number is the difference between the each subsequent number. 158.7188 158.7188 2 159.2344 .515625 3 159.4297 .1953125 4 159.6328 .203125 5 159.9688 .3359375 6 160.1406 .171875 7 160.3359 .1953125 8 160.5469 .2109375 9 160.7266 .1796875 10 161.3047 .578125 11 161.5078 .203125 12 161.6875 .1796875 13 161.9375 .25 14 162.125 .1875 15 162.4766 .3515625 16 162.6875 .2109375 17 162.9141 .2265625 18 163.1094 .1953125 19 163.3281 .21875 20 163.5078 .1796875 21 163.7188 .2109375 .25 I subtracted the first number from the last number and divided by 20 to get the average time interval. .171875, 1 .1796875, 3 .1875, 1 .1953125, 3 .203125, 2 .2109375, 3 .21875, 1 .2265625, 1 .25, 1 .3359575, 1 .3515625, 1 .515625, 1 .578125, 1

The TIMER program is most likey only accurate to a certain decimal place and has to round the numbers. Therefore, any intervals that are close would be reported as the same number. The difference from one time interval to the next are repeated values. The TIMER program must round to these certain times. 3.117188 3.71875 2.929688 3.289063 3.234375 2.703125

I was more conscious about my breath and therefore, sometimes I took a deeper breath which increased the time intervals. I would say it is accurate to one hundreth of a second. There is a time that lapses between the click of the mouse and the program's ability to register the 'click'. series of breaths event number clock time time interval 1 1396.938 1396.938 2 1400.055 3.117188 3 1403.773 3.71875

Your work on this experiment will be compiled and you will receive a more extensive analysis and a reply after the due date. On a first look-through the results you have submitted appear to be in the correct format.

Since you submitted this experiment late and the files for that experiment have already been compiled and analyzed, it will be a little while before a legible copy of your work is posted. If this copy has not been posted by the time you begin Assignment 3, submit a note to that effect and I will run the files one more and post the late work.
