Note on Physics Lab Materials

If you are taking physics in class you will be doing your lab on campus and will not need to purchase or rent any lab items. 

If you are a distance physics student you will lab supplies, some of which are purchased through the VHCC bookstore and some of which may be rented through the bookstore. 

In order to manage lab kit records, you will need to fill out the Lab Materials form at Lab Materials Form.  Even if you previously filled out the form, you should do so at this time.  Your submission will be acknowledged by an email message and a posting to your access page. 

Note that the first instruction on this form is to fill out the Initial Materials Form, in which you provide the instructor with a mailing address at which to send some initial materials.  These inexpensive materials (part of the Lab Materials Package) are sent at no immediate cost to you.
