Here are the instructions that were included in the Access Code email. I have added the url's and some comments on what I tried in each step.
1. To avoid someone else obtaining your access code and possibly viewing instructor responses to your work, do not access your information at a time and location where another user might view the screen, and be sure to close the Internet browser window when you have finished. If it is not possible for you to view your information with an acceptable level of privacy, please inform the instructor and other arrangments will be made.
2. Go to the http://vhmthphy.vhcc.edu site. ####I copied the web address and pasted in in my browser's url box.
3. Click on General Information (the first button on the page). ####I clicked on the General Information link and here is where it took me: http://vhcc2.vhcc.edu/dsmith/genInfo/default.htm
4. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on Access to Your Information. A menu file will appear with 100 choices. ####I cannot find the link Access to Your Information, so I thought that the link Access to your Portfolio would work, but it takes me here http://vhcc2.vhcc.edu/dsmith/genInfo/labrynth_created_fall_05/menu.htm
5. Click on the number 06 (the first two digits of your access code). A new menu file will appear. As an extra security measure, this menu will be mislabeled 'Level I Menu' and will look exactly the same as the first. Despite its labeling, it is actually a Level II menu. ####I cannot find this link. I tried to click on the 006 link, but it takes me to this page that says The system cannot find the file specified. 6. Click on the number 33 (the middle two digits of your access code). A third menu file, more extensive than the other two, will appear.
7. Click on the number 905 (the last three digits of your access code).

Since I received my access code on Monday morning (8/25), I have been trying to access my information to check any additional information you might have sent or any replies on other questions or assignments that you might have posted. I'm sorry for all of the trouble, but I can't find how to access my page anywhere.

I cannot access my individual physics page, so I can't see anything that you may have replied to on the physics site, all I can have communication on now is just through email. Sorry for all of the trouble, but I don't want to get behind or miss something important that you might have sent out on the physics page. Thank you for your help!

The email I sent late yesterday addressed this.
The 'Access Your Portfolio' link does take you to
http://vhcc2.vhcc.edu/dsmith/genInfo/labrynth_created_fall_05/menu.htm
However, if you saw the 006 link at that point, it's because the file was corrupted.
It was repaired yesterday, and you should be able to access it now.
Let me know right away if that's not the case. Use the Question Form again, and copy the form confirmation into an email so I can address the problem as quickly as possible.
