Question 1: ***For and graph the function y = 3x - 4 the y intercept is -4 which we find when we put x as 0 and the x intercept is 4/3 which we find when we put y as 0.
Confidence=3
OK
Question 2: ***The steepness of the graph with the function does not change. It is just a straight line.
Confidence=3
OK
Question 3: ***The slope of the graph (rise/run) is 3 because between any two points plotted on the graph, this is what the rise/run equals.
Confidence=3
OK
Question 4: *** I would say the graph is increasing and it is increasing at a constant rate. The steepness does not change because the graph continues increasing at the same rate. It does not flatten out and it does not jump up and increase by another major number.
Confidence=3
OK
Question 5: ***The graph is decreasing. The slope is negative and it goes from left to right pointing downward. The steepness also decreases because the changes in x gets less and less and not as dramatic. It is decreasing at a rate but not at a constant rate because it gets less and less each time.
Confidence=3
OK
Question 6: ***The graph is increasing but the steepness is decreasing. It is also decreasing at a decreasing rate. The y gets smaller and smaller with each x value. The end of the graph starts to level out more.
Confidence=3
OK
Question 7: The graph is decreasing because the slope is negative. But the graph decreases by less and less with each y value. The graph is decreasing at a rate that is not constant again. The graph is not decreasing by the same number to make it constant but instead it is decreasing by the rate of 1/2 so it is a decreasing rate instead of a constant rate.
Confidence=2 because I know this change is a decreasing rate, but I always get confused when it decreases by the same rate over and over again. Makes me think it is constant.
OK
Question 8: ***A graph of y vs t would be increasing at a rate that also increases because as the car gets farther away, the speed of it also increases so the distance between you and the car changes and increases with each second. The slope is also getting greater and greater and changes between each point increasing.
Confidence=3
OK
Question 9: ***The graph decreases at a decreasing rate up to the value of x=1 and then it begins to increase at the same rate but it is an increasing rate now instead as the x gets bigger in the positive direction. The graph forms a parabola and the x intercept is at (1,0).
Confidence: 3"

If you were to refer back to this document you would not remember what function went with what answer.
You will need to resubmit this in a way similar to that noted on earlier documents.
