course Mth 174
The book that we used was Calculus: Early Transcendentals by James Stewart. We used the 5th edition. I have not had an introduction to integrals but instead we finished with antiderrivatives. I was also wondering if you know if they have the book in stock in the bookstore for this course yet? Thank you for all of your help! Sorry that i have not been able to get back to you yet but my Monday and Tuesdays are are pretty hectic. Thanks again!Simon Rucker
I checked the boostore late this afternoon and the text was on the shelf.
I think I still have a copy of one of Stewart's texts, not sure whether it's the early transcendental version or not; it was sent to me by the publisher when I was considering it for a multivariate course.
If you worked with antiderivatives then you probably have a pretty good start on Chapter 6. However you'll probably need to work through at least parts of Chapter 5, which is covered in my first-semester course. Take a look when you get the book and let me know what you think you have and have not already covered in Chapters 5 and 6.
