Professor Smith, I looked over your response to my last assignment and I will keep that in mind. Thanks for your input. As far as the corresponance between the query and the assignment problems, thank you for checking into that. It was confusing for me. Especially in assignment 9. the quicker you can check it and get it taken care of the better so i can continue at a rather rapid pace to complete the course in the alotted time. Also, i got some random feedback on my portfolio page talking about orientation parts I-VI. I dont think this is supposed to be there but i just wanted to make sure. Thank you!
I've just restored my 'main' computer, which crashed rather badly a couple months ago, and my first run of the 'posting' program after the transition generated those random files. I'm not sure how that happened, but the files are harmless and I'm probably not going to attempt to correct the files--too many needles to find in too many haystack with too great a possibility of error. Bottom line: the files might be a little distracting but they're easy to ignore, and it's better to leave them than to risk losing important information.
As to the more important problem of correspondence, I had some trouble locating the correct files for the Query, but I have located them and I hope to address them shortly, at least to be able to tell you what problems are actually assigned. Hopefully that reply will post at the same time this one does.
Addendum: I was able to get into the Chapter 8 query. This is a copy of the email I just sent you:
I've modified the assignments for Chapter 8 to fit the Queries. I should have similar modifications for Chapter 9 shortly.
If you have already done assignments on a section according to the previous posting, let me know which section and tell me which problems you did, and I'll send you a query specific to the assignment as you did it. For future sections do the assignments as posted. I should be able to post the modified Query by sometime tomorrow (modifications have been completed for Chapter 8 and I'm working thru Chapter 9 right now).
