class success

Professor Smith,
I planned to have this class done by now. Things happen in life, I had to have surgery 2 weeks ago, I don't know if you notice the big fall off of in my turn-in rate from me. Achilles tendon repair, lots of pain, so not much time for school work. Another situation, I am applying for this promotion at work, which requires a BS degree. This is my only class to achieve that degree. We have an open system when applying for jobs; it is online so anyone can apply, bottom line the job closes.
I plan to take Test 1 today, but I know I am not going to be able to do all the labs, queries, and seeds to get Test 2 and Final exam done. However, I am going to try my best to get majority of it done. This is my second time taking this course, so I am familiar with a lot of the material, and feel confident I can pass all the test and final with flying colors with reviewing your notes, practicing in queries, and a good study night. I know you don't care about just test scores. So, my question for you, are there any specific labs or sections that you feel are more important than others for success.
Sorry for such a long e-mail and request, but I am hoping to apply for this job and tell them I have a degree.

I sent this to you in e-mail too, so please disregard if you have already read/replied via e-mail. I thought about it and I know you like questions in this form.

The bulk of your grade is tests and labs.
You do need to have a passing grade on the lab portion to pass the course. You have in fact passed enough of the labs that even if you don't do any more, your lab average would be a C. A test and exam average of 95, with that lab average, would get you an A.
Your test grades should be posted, and you are doing very well there.
We can't officially report a grade until after the term ends, probably around August 10. However as soon as you have completed your work I can post your grade on Blackboard, and notify our registrar that you have passed the course and will receive the grade when grades are posted.
