Your 'ball down ramp' report has been received. Scroll down through the document to see any comments I might have inserted, and my final comment at the end.
** Your general comment **
** Will a steeper ramp give greater or lesser time? **
The steeper the ramp then the less time it will take for the ball to make it down the ramp.
** As slopes increases will time intervals increase, decrease or show no pattern? **
Time intervals will decrease as the steepness increases.

This data shows the amount of time that it takes a metal ball to roll down a ramp (27 cm) with a slope created by the width of one domino

My set up was the same as before, the only difference being the addition of a second domino under the ramp. Again the data is of a metal ball rolling down a ramp 27 cm, with a slope that has been created by the width of two dominos. What I am noticing about the numbers that I am getting is that the time trial here seem to be smaller, or less time for the ball to get down the ramp compared to the slope created by the width of one domino.

** Do your results support or fail to support your hypothesis about increasing or decreasing times? **
My results do support the hypothese that I stated earlier. The time trial are showing that the great the slope the less time it takes for the ball to make it down the ramp.
** How do you think ave velocity is related to slope? **
With the increase in the slope of the ramp, there is an increase in the average velocity of the ball because it is cover the distance in a shorter amount of time each time the slope is increased.
** Speculate on why ave velocity changes with slope. **
With the increase in slope that ball is able to increase in speed as it moves down the ramp and therefore, it is increasing it’s average velocity.
** How could you test your speculations? **
You could take and use the average speed from each set of time trails to determine the average velocity of the ball for each slope of the ramp. Then use this to compare.
