Derive questions??????????

** **

** **

I am having trouble accessing the Derive site. I downloaded the free trial to my personal computer and it will not run when i click on it. Is it already downloaded at VHCC on the computers there? Is it required that we do the exercise and turn it in or is it an option?

** **

Im just trying to figure out how to use the Derive free trial that i downloaded because it will not work for me and i have downloaded it twice now.

DERIVE is available on VHCC computers.

The exercise is actually optional, but it's well worth the couple of hours it takes to do the exercise. No penalty if you don't, but you'll probably be glad that you did.

Pendulum modeled by motion

** **

** **

I have read the instructions on the Pendulum modeled by motion on a circle directions. I am doing the exercise right now and i would like to know what all i need to submit in a form or if we are just supposed to do this exercise to benefit ourselves and help us understand better?

** **

I need to know if we have to submit any information from the pendulum modeled by motion on a circle exercise in a submit work form or if we just do it on our own with no work to submit?

That exercise is best if you actually perform it, as you appear to be doing. The simulated data is also an option, and the question you answer are the same either way, but it's more meaninful and useful if you use your actual data.

The Query document, which you will submit, will ask you questions about the exercise.
