EXP 12

When did you take the test and how was it to be sent? I don't think I've got it yet but if I know when and how it was sent I can double-check.

Here is a copy of what I have so far for the video experiment 12.

Also I have taken test #1. Have you received it yet. I went to the supervised current semester to get my grade and there is something odd posted for 9/21/05. Is this perhaps my test and if so where is the grade for the Major Quiz. I was having tropuble with the video experiemnt 12. That is why I am sending it to you. If it does not come out check your email I will send it as an attachment.

Calculations of mass 15 * 1.2 = 18g 12 * 1.2 = 14.4g 9 * 1.2 = 10.8g 6 * 1.2 = 7.2 g 3 * 1.2 = 3.6g

Calculations of Force F = m * a 18g * 980cm/s^2 = 17,640 N 14.4g * 980cm/s^2 = 14,112 N 10.8g * 980cm/s^2 = 10,584 N 7.2g * 980cm/s^2 = 7,056 N 3.6g*980cm/s^2 = 3,528 N

grams * cm/s^2 does not give you Newtons. A gram cm/s^2 is a unit of force called a 'dyne'. However you want to work in Newtons here.

kg * m/s^2 gives you Newtons.

I also have the graphs but I am not sure if they will post correctly here from Excel. let me know if you would like for me to send these to you.

When in doubt send the file. You did the right thing here by submitting the text version, but you are right that graphs will not display.

In any event you are supposed to describe the graphs, even if the graphs are present. I need to know what you see in the graphs, and if you give a sufficient description that usually means that I often don't need to see the graphs myself. But it's good to know I can get to them if I need to.
