Your 'ball down ramp' report has been received. Scroll down through the document to see any comments I might have inserted, and my final comment at the end.
** Your general comment **
** Will a steeper ramp give greater or lesser time? **
I think the steeper the ramp, the less time it will take the ball to get to the end.
** As slopes increases will time intervals increase, decrease or show no pattern? **
I would expect them to be decreasing.

This data is the numbers it took the ball to get from the beginning of the ramp to the end fo the ramp, each shows the different time intervals. This data was collected by the TIMER program. I placed the steel ball at the top of the ramp and placed a domino infront of it so it would not roll down, then when I removed the domino I would hit the click to time event in the timer program, then when it hit the bracket I would press the button again.
You are reporting not only the intervals necessary for the ball to travel down the ramp, but the interval between the end of the ramp and the start of your next trial. If you remove the latter, you will be left with good data for the times down the ramp.
** Your report of 5 trials each way for 2 dominoes **
During the process of practicing I was trying to time the steel ball as best as I could, and figure out the best techniques to use in order to get reliable data.

This data shows the time intervals between when the ball started at the beginning of the ramp and the time it took the ball to hit the bracket. This data was collected by placing two dominos under the ramp, then I placed the steel ball at the top of the ramp and held a domino infront of it until I was ready to release the steel ball. When I removed the domino I hit the click to time event button in the TIMER program and then when it hit the bracket I hit the button again.

** Do your results support or fail to support your hypothesis about increasing or decreasing times? **
When there was only one domino under the ramp and then three dominos under the ramp then my hypotheses was supported. The third domino time intervals were smaller than when there was only one domino. When there was two dominos the time intervals were about the same as the third domino time intervals, so my hypotheses was not supported here.
** How do you think ave velocity is related to slope? **
The less the slope is, the more velocity the ball has.
** Speculate on why ave velocity changes with slope. **
What causes the average velocity on these ramps to change with slope, is that when the ball has more velocity, we see it is accompanied by a lesser slope.
** How could you test your speculations? **
I could see if my speculations are indeed valid explanations by comparing them to other answers that students got for this lab experiment.
