The airplane would maintain constant speed, because the gust of wind is hitting the airplane at the bottom of it, so it should not affect the plane.
If the gust hit from the bottom your answer would be correct.
• Does it veer a bit to the right, a bit to the left or does it continue traveling along a straight line?

It should remain in a straight line, because once again the gust of wind is hitting the airplane from the bottom, so it shouldn’t make the plane move. If gust of wind was coming from the sides then it would make the plane veer to the right or left a bit.
