How beneficial would it be to purchase the online access to mathxl tutorials through the Sullivan textbook and if we have already purchased the book, is there an access code we can get without purchasing it? I think for 12 months access, it is approx. $40.00
I'm very pleased with the Sullivan text, and expect that the tutorials would be good. However I haven't seen them and can't tell you for certain. Did you find the supplementary materials with the College Algebra text useful?
However I would simply start the course, and wait to purchase the tutorials until you think they are needed. Your preparation in Mth 158 has familiarized you with much of the material, and you might find that you don't require the tutorials.
