Your 'timer program' report has been received. Scroll down through the document to see any comments I might have inserted, and my final comment at the end.
** Your General Comment **
** Describe what you see on your first 10 clicks **
The first click is the initial time and every click after that increases based on the increments that you click. A stopwatch timer.

** Your average time interval for 20 time intervals **
.165625
added the values up and divided by 20
** Your frequency distribution for the 20 time intervals (interval, number of times it was observed) **
.140625, 2
.15625, 6
.171875, 10
.1875, 2
** Your general comment to this point **
** Why did you observe only certain time intervals? **
it does this so we can more easily set up a frequency distribution table. if all the numbers were different the data would be too scattered to be able to come to a good conclusion
** What did you see when you looked at the differences between time successive time intervals? **
there are only a few different variations is the difference between the time intervals. The timer program only records in set increments.
** Your time intervals for 7 complete breaths: **
1363.156
This isn't a time interval between breaths. The rest do appear to be reasonable.

** Your general comment to this point: **
** Why did you rarely, if ever, observe that same time interval twice? **
because there is a more defined time interval between the slow clicks than the fast clicks
** Do you think this program is accurate to .1 or .01 ... **
Answer a is the most accurate. When looking at the fast clicks it appears that the accuracy starts to decline in the .01 range and when you look at the slow clicks at the .1 range the numbers start to vary more which indicates a more accurate reading.
** Copy of a few lines of your spreadsheet from the TIMER program. **
