#$&* If the wind is blowing from the west, within that first second or so, the airplane probably wouldn't veer too much to that eastern side until the wind generated enough force to push the plane in the north-eastern direction.
* If the wind keeps shifting so as to remain perpendicular to the direction of motion what path will the airplane follow?
