I estimated the red particle to take about 5-10 seconds between collisions with other particles or the wall.The blue particles appear heavier, and slower than say the green.
WHen the red changes to yellow, the speed appears to pick up. I'm thinking this could represent the transfer of kinetic energy somehow.
I believe the graphs represent some way of measuring the total KE of the system. I'm not exactly sure. "
The graphs are frequency distributions, showing in one how frequently the different velocity ranges appear, in another how frequently different kinetic energy ranges appear.
