just reorienting myself....
Describe what you see on your first 10 clicks
I see two columns, on measuring the total time elapsed, and the other measuring the time interval between two clicks.

Your average time interval for 20 time intervals
.2922 seconds.
I took the total time and divided it by the total number of intervals.

Your general comment to this point
Why did you observe only certain time intervals?
the timer program was rounding to .005. it is still more accurate than a hadwatch....
What did you see when you looked at the differences between time successive time intervals?
the last column tells YOUR inaccuracy. If you were measuring equal time intervals there would be the same time intervals throughout. thus zero difference in the time it takes to go between time intervals.
Your time intervals for 7 complete breaths:

1 0 0
2 4.096069 4.096069

Your general comment to this point:
Why did you rarely, if ever, observe that same time interval twice?
breathing is less regular than fast clicking. also, since the difference between breaths is longer, one would expect more accurate measurement.
Do you think this program is accurate to .1 or .01 ...
b. whenever events were closer than that, the user's click accuracy became a factor.
Copy of a few lines of your spreadsheet from the TIMER program.
my timer program doesn,t have those buttons.... I will look for another version to download
