What Five trails?
** **
This is for the Uniformity of Acceleration for Ball on Ramp..
For each set of 5 trials you will now need to calculate the velocity of the ball as it comes off the ramp. There are various ways to calculate the velocity and its uncertainty. Here the velocity calculation for each setup will be based on the mean horizontal distances.
First calculate the mean horizontal distance traveled by the ball after leaving the end of the ramp, for each starting position on each setup (you had 3 starting positions for each setup).

The question asks for 'mean horizontal distance traveled by the ball after leaving the end of the ramp'.
If you only have three trials for each ramp distnace rather than five, you can calculate this result based on the three.
When the ball leaves the ramp its horizontal position is the same as the mark made by the ball when it was dropped from just below the end of the ramp.
When it strikes the floor, its horizontal position is the same as that of the mark it makes on the paper.
So its horizontal distance is the distance between the straight-drop mark and the mark made when the ball lands.

I don't understand what mean horizontal distance? The 10 cm to end of ramp, The 20 cm to end of ramp, and 30 cm length of the ramp? Or is the mean horizontal distance which where the ball landed at?
And I don't understand which set of 5 trails either. I only have 10 cm, 20 cm, and 30 cm trails which were done 3 times each.. and counting the vertical drop too..

I don't understand which five trails.
I don't understand where I calculate the mean horizontal distance for this lab.
