Pearl Pendulum

** **

The question is..

I don't have any copper wire for the pearl pendulum. So I would take a thread to it. Would I just put the thread through and when it is over the metal on the other side have it tied up? Does the copper wire have any significance other than having it to tie the thread to it?

The copper wire is just a device to make it easy to tie the thread and prevent it from interfering with the pendulum hitting the bracket.

There is a larger bead in the materials package you purchased from the bookstore that has a couple of short pieces of string protruding from it. You can make a much better pendulum using this bead--just tie a thread to one of the protruding string.
