no questions so far

** Why did you observe only certain time intervals? **

There are probably only certain processor ticks that are allowed to be interrupted by a mouse click or by the timer program. I don't think the program is flawed or useless, it is just subject to other constraints within the OS.

** What did you see when you looked at the differences between time successive time intervals? **

Same as my previous answer, I think that the timer is subject to OS constraints.

** Your general comment to this point: **

** Why did you rarely, if ever, observe that same time interval twice? **

Because the time frame is much larger, and it is much less likely that we approached any sort of constraint imposed by hardware or OS. We were still getting results according to those constraints, we just didn't notice, because each result is much larger.

** Do you think this program is accurate to .1 or .01 ... **

B, I think that the average difference of .01-.02 secs indicates an accuracy level of about .01 seconds.
