Your general comment to this point
i did this
Why did you observe only certain time intervals?
no it means that the timer is as accurate as it can get given the parameters.
What did you see when you looked at the differences between time successive time intervals?
It can calculate up to the 5th decimal place to the right.
Your time intervals for 7 complete breaths:
5.484375
4.8125
4.40652
4.328125
4.671875

4.03125
3.734375

Your general comment to this point:
I had only one interval that was the same
Why did you rarely, if ever, observe that same time interval twice?
The further apart the time intervals the further from duplicate times we get.
Do you think this program is accurate to .1 or .01 ...
I think d would be true because after the fourth number is judges by 5's or 0's.
Copy of a few lines of your spreadsheet from the TIMER program.
i do not have a spreadsheet program on this computer when it opens - it is in notepad. (My free trial on microsoft works is expired)
Your report has been received. You appear to have good data. We will be discussing this work as a group, after the due date.
You would find it very beneficial to have a spreadsheet. There are free online spreadsheets available, and there are freeware spreadsheets you can download. If you go to your favorite search engine and search under 'Freeware Spreadsheets' you will find a pretty wide range.
I'll try to research this a bit on some of the computers at VHCC. Email me to remind me to share the results with you.
