@& Trying to get everything posted by midnight so only had time for a quick look, but will definitely look again. As one who regularl uses and teaches the circular deifnition of the trig functions, the Cauchy integral formula, the Euler identity and everything else I've seen so far in the manifesto, I can say that tau (or as we call it, 2 pi) has a very good argument in its favor.

However note that engineers still use feet and pounds (and slugs) as a basis for their calculations, simply because all the old texts and tables are too cumbersome to convert (and the process too error-prone). So the chances of a wholescale conversion to tau, even if accepted, won't happen all that quickly.*@
