Major Quiz

Phy 201

I printed a major quiz off the site for additonal practice and have a question. The problem is-- If the velocity of the object changes from 3cm/sec to 13cm/sec in 11 seconds, then at what average rate is the velocity changing?I know that acceleration is the average rate of change of velocity with respect to clocktime, so would the solution be a=(vf-vo)/'dt = (13cm/s-3cm/s)/11 sec = .91 cm/s/s

Sure would.

Good application of the definitions.
