A ball starts with velocity 4 cm/sec and ends with a velocity of 10 cm/sec.

The ball probably traveled between 12 cm and 30 cm.
I calculated the distance for each given velocity in 3 seconds.
If the ball was going at 4 cm/s, it would cover 12 cm in 3 seconds and if the ball was going at 10 cm/s, it would cover 30 cm in 3 seconds.
