Lab packet.....

I purchased my lab packet today from the vhcc bookstore, there is no metal strap in the packet. Is there something else I could do the Rotating Straw lab with??? Can I use the straw or do I need to find a metal strap??

The straw doesn't work that well due to electrostatic forces, which are hard to avoid.

However anything you can get to rotate smoothly on the die for at least a few seconds would work. Thin objects work best that are fairly long and/or wide work best.
