Your 'ball down ramp' report has been received. Scroll down through the document to see any comments I might have inserted, and my final comment at the end.
** Your general comment **
** Will a steeper ramp give greater or lesser time? **
I believe the steepest ramp will make for the smallest time interval for the ball to roll down. The least steep ramp will require the most time for the ball to roll down.
** As slopes increases will time intervals increase, decrease or show no pattern? **
The time intervals would be decreasing as the slopes increase.

This data is the time interval in seconds for the steel ball to roll down and hit the bracket traveling a total of 29.2cm. The ramp is elevated by one domino.

The data is the time it takes for the ball to travel down the ramp which is elevated by two dominos. I clicked the TIMER button as I released the ball and I clicked it again when the ball struck the bracket.

These are the times in seconds that it takes the ball to roll down the ramp elevated by three dominos and strike the bracket.
** Do your results support or fail to support your hypothesis about increasing or decreasing times? **
Yes my results support my hypothesis because as the ramp grew steeper, the time intervals grew smaller.
** How do you think ave velocity is related to slope? **
As the slope gets steeper, the ball's average velocity increases. This is evident in my experiments because the time intervals became smaller as the slope increased which means the average velocity increased.
** Speculate on why ave velocity changes with slope. **
As the slope grows steeper, the ball has more and more momentum as it rolls. My guess is that you are fighting gravity as you decrease the slope.
** How could you test your speculations? **
If you place the ball on a level table its average velocity will be zero. If you place the ball on your roof the velocity of the ball will be higher because the slope is steeper and you are letting gravity do its thing.
