I am a little confused of what is required of me for assignments 00. It looks more like an explanation, that just further confused me. I will try to explain what I think I am required to do by the 21st, and hopefully you can correct, or confirm this.

Like I said before, it seems assignments 00 where just an explanation. So i believe I am expected to move to assignments 01. This would ask me to look at the class notes (and when i recieve them the dvd, I assume has lectures as well). Then I would do the qa_01, and submit this via the submit work form. After doing that, I am to do the Modeling Project #1. I can either actually perform this experiment, which is recommended, or use the data from the other link titled "simulated flow data". Either way, from the data I use, I am to answer the questions listed on the Modeling Project

Does the depth seem to be changing at a regular rate, at a faster and faster rate, or at a slower and slower rate?

What do you think a graph of depth vs. time would look like?

Does the horizontal distance (the distance to the right, ignoring the up and down distance) traveled by the stream increase or decrease as time goes on?

Does this distance change at an increasing, decreasing or steady rate?

What do you think a graph of this horizontal distance vs. time would look like?.

I then submit this via submit work form

You are welcome to do so, but you need not submit the modeling project. You will be asked questions about that project in the Query, which you do submit by that form.

If after submitting the Query you have unanswered questions about the modeling project, you are more than welcome to submit those parts about which you have questions, along with your questions (indicated in the usual manner by ???).

I see links to

Analyzing the Data and Understanding the Modeling Process and

Completing the Initial Flow Model

But I noticed this was a note for precalc. I am unsure if I am to follow these links, because I know we are covering Precalc in the beginning. As for know I am assuming it was a note for precalc only, and skipping this.

@&

Those links are part of the modeling project, and those parts should be completed.

This entire project is essentially a review of things you should have learned in precalculus, but which few students actually did.

The next thing to do is query 01 and submit via submit work form.

Your feedback would be very helpful.

Let me know if my inserted notes don't answer your questions.
