The problem:
A ball is moving at 10 cm/s when clock time is 4 seconds, and at 40 cm/s when clock time is 9 seconds.
Sketch a v vs. t graph and represent these two events by the points (4 sec, 10 cm/s) and (9 s, 40 cm/s).
Sketch a straight line segment between these points.
What are the rise, run and slope of this segment?
answer/question/discussion: ->->->->->->->->->->->-> (start in the next line):
rise- 30
run - 5
slope- 6

These quantities have units, which should be included.

What is the area of the graph beneath this segment?
answer/question/discussion: ->->->->->->->->->->->-> (start in the next line):
100cm^2
A= .5 (5) (40)

This would be the area of the graph defined by the points (4, 0) and (9, 40).
That triangle does not include all the area beneath the given graph.
All quantities have units and meanings, which should be included and indicated at every step of the calculation.

Not bad, but not quite complete and not quite correct on the second question.
