An automobile rolls 10 meters down a constant incline with slope .05 in 8 seconds, starting from rest. The same automobile requires 5 seconds to roll the same distance down an incline with slope .10, again starting from rest.
At what average rate is the automobile's acceleration changing with respect to the slope of the incline?
(.4m/s/s + .15625m/s/s) / 2 = .28m/s/s

This appears to be the average of two accelerations, not the average rate at which the acceleration changes with respect to ramp slope. You will need to carefull apply the definition of average rate in order to answer this question.
You haven't shown where you got the .4 m/s^2 or the .156 m/s^2. I don't think either is correct, but both should be easy to fix.
