Would like to have feedback. I was not exactly comfortable with the second half of the question. Would like to have some clarification. Thanks, joshua

If the slope of a graph of the acceleration of a cart vs. the number of paper clips attached by a string and suspended over a pulley is ( 16 cm/s2) / clip, and if the slope of a graph of number of paper clips needed to maintain equilibrium vs. ramp slope is 68 clips / unit of ramp slope, then how many cm/s2 of acceleration should correspond to 1 unit of ramp slope? If 70 clips are necessary to match the mass of the cart, then if we could apply this force to the cart without the extra mass of all those clips, what would be the acceleration of the cart?A=16cm/s^2, slope 68c/u,

1 unit of slope change should equal an acceleration change of 16cm/s^2.

2 added units would cause a total of 32cm/s^2

If each clip adds 16 cm/s^2 to the acceleration, and 68 clips correspond to a unit of ramp slope, then the acceleration corresponding to a unit of ramp slope is (16 cm/s^2) / clip * 68 clips / unit of ramp slope = 1088 cm/s^2.

If the force corresponding to 70 clips was applied the acceleration would be 70 * 16 cm/s^2 = 1120 cm/s^2.
