Question about materials.

Unable to obtain proper materials for this weeks lab exercises:
1. For temperature changing lab Asst 03, I have not yet received my packet from the bookstore with my rented thermometer. (I only received the email from you regarding the availability of these packages on Wednesday Evening and have been unable to catch the bookstore during their open hours due to my work schedule. I will order it Monday morning, but this will still only get to me by Wednesday at the very earliest). I also do not have the appropriate graduated cylinder. I think I can make due with an infrared thermometer and relatively well measured clear plastic cup, but my numbers will certainly be different.
2. For Asst. 04 that is about raising water in a tube, the activity describes a plug with three tubes coming out of it (or a cap with several pieces of tubing). I also do not have this in my initial packet that I was sent. Was it meant to be included? I do have a green cap with a single piece of tubing coming out of the center. The tube is about 22 inches in length and is what I have been using for the brief bottle experiments, etc. Is this what I should be using for Asst. 04?
I'm growing concerned that I will be unable to complete these projects by Sunday because there is no way the packet I ordered from the bookstore will be here by then. Do you have any advice?

You can be a few days late with those experiments. My advice would be to work ahead on the assignments to free up time to do the experiments when you get your package.
