Your 'flow experiment' report has been received. Scroll down through the document to see any comments I might have inserted, and my final comment at the end.
** Your initial message (if any): **
I am submitting this to see if I used the clock times and not time intervals. This is only half way done.
** Is flow rate increasing, decreasing, etc.? **
Decrease
** Is the velocity of the water surface increasing, decreasing, etc.? **
decrease.
** How would the velocity of the water surface, the velocity of the exiting water, the diameter of the cylinder and the diameter of the hole be interrelated? **
They are interrelated because they all act on each other to create an equation so that velocity could be determined or any other variable that would be left out.
** Explain how we know that a change in velocity implies the action of a force: **
The area of the exiting water is smaller than the area of the cylinder therefore changing the velocity of the water.
** Does the depth seem to be changing at a regular rate, at a faster and faster rate, or at a slower and slower rate **
Depth seems be changing at a slower and slower rate. Gravity and Pressure are at the nature of these forces.
** What do you think a graph of depth vs. time would look like? **
It would be a convex curve.
** Does the horizontal distance (the distance to the right, ignoring the up and down distance) traveled by the stream increase or decrease as time goes on? **
Decreases.
** Does this distance change at an increasing, decreasing or steady rate? **
Decreasing.
** What do you think a graph of this horizontal distance vs. time would look like? **
It would also seem to be a convex curve toward the x axis and away from the y axis form left to right.

slower snd slower rate
** Your description of your depth vs. t graph: **
The graph follows a convex shape starting in the upper right corner and following an almost linear pattern toward the bottom left corner of the graph and then becomming near horizontal toward the bottom left. The slope decreased as it got near the bottom left corner of the graph.
** Your explanation and list of average average velocities: **
You need to answer this question and the subsequent questions. You are also welcome to ask questions if you aren't sure of the instructions.

** According to the evidence here, is acceleration increasing, decreasing, staying the same or is in not possible to tell? **
