Week4 quiz1 If a sand pile 5 meters high has a mass of 236000 kg, then what would we expect to be the mass of a
geometrically similar sand pile 15 meters high? Using the differential estimate the mass of sand required to increase the
height of the pile from 5 meters to 5.02 meters.
236000/5 = x/15 or x=708000 kg is the mass of a 15m high pile of sand
??? I do not have a working set of DVDs the 2nd one works but the 1st does not work what do I need to do ???
