The initial velocity and the acceleration of gravity act in two different directions (i.e., when a ball is thrown upward gravity accelerates it downward, causing it to first slow as it rises then, after stopping for an instant, to speed up as it falls. You reasoned your solutions well, but this one discrepancy makes it impossible to answer some questions at all, and of course changes your answers on others.
