** Your General Comment **

I am having to redo this because it kicked me off my internet connection. Almost all of the everycises I have done so far have done this- why? This makes these long exercises even longer.

Sometimes the q_a_ and query programs end suddenly; this usually means that they are done and you can submit the SEND file. These programs write their data with every entry and cannot unwrite anything, so they cannot cause you to actually lose data.

This exercise was done using a web form, and you are cautioned not to trust web forms because any interruption in your Intenet service or any glitch on your computer will cause you to lose your work. This is true of all web-based forms.

The instructions for this experiment were preceded by the following:

'It is suggested that you maintain your results somewhere besides the form (you might, for example, maintain them on a word processed document; for experiments that do not directly require the use of the computer you may also maintain them on paper and transcribe them later into an appropriate electronic format). You can then insert your results into the form after you have finished the experiment. This will prevent loss of data in the event your Internet connection goes down, or in the event of some other problem with the form.'

It's important to follow this advice.

** Your general comment to this point **

None at this time.

** Why did you observe only certain time intervals? **

Because it rounds, which causes it to be flawed, though it is useful when the exact meausurements are not needed.

** What did you see when you looked at the differences between time successive time intervals? **

Negative numbers, which further shows that the program is flawed beacuse there is no such thing as a negative time.

** Your general comment to this point: **

I can't take slow and relaxing breaths.

** Why did you rarely, if ever, observe that same time interval twice? **

I didn't, but I thinkt that you would expect it because the body would be trying to go to homeostasis, just like it would when you take regular breaths.

** Do you think this program is accurate to .1 or .01 ... **

B., because I think that the program is making the most drastic rounding errors after the hundredths place.

Almost two hours, but that is counting have ing go back and redo since this cut off my internet connection. However, it still took about an hour and a half and I have very good computter and typing skills.

I don't know if this is what you want, but this is what I got.

Everything looks good. See my note on the need for backup with webforms.
