Describe what you see on your first 10 clicks

The time goes up in one column and the second column contains how long it was between the clicks.

Your average time interval for 20 time intervals

I added all the intervals and divided by the nuber of intervals, 19.

Your general comment to this point

Why did you observe only certain time intervals?

I think htat the timer rounds and that the tendancy of the repeating numbers is due to the rhytmn of hte clicking of the mouse. There is a time delay from the initial clicking of the mouse and the actual time recorded.

What did you see when you looked at the differences between time successive time intervals?

There is a pattern with the difference also.

Your time intervals for 7 complete breaths:

153.2188

155.2813

157.6719

159.875

162.2656

164.8594

167.2031

171.5938

173.6875

175.8594

Your general comment to this point:

I take a more relaxed breath as i went on.

Why did you rarely, if ever, observe that same time interval twice?

It is probably because we weren't focusing so hard on the clicking and more relaxed.

Do you think this program is accurate to .1 or .01 ...

I say b because the numbers are differant in each interval to that number.

Copy of a few lines of your spreadsheet from the TIMER program.

Good data.

After the due date we will be discussing this experiment further via an online forum.
