As the bottle is squeezed, the vertical tube seems to contain water in its tube and raising it higher, while the extended pressure measuring tube seemed to push the U shaped water toward the capped end of the tube. Finally , the third tube which has water in it also but the water stops at a peak start to usher over its peak and decrease its air column.

i have chosen to estimate each level to the nearest tenth of a centimeter using full sized paper ruler. the reason for this is that human eye can achieve this fairly well as opposed to further precision than this. Although millimeters are more precise than that of centimeters, that is why the nearest tenth estimation is added to include the precision to millimeter level.

for extended pressure measuring tube : 23.4 cm, for vertical tube: 19.6 cm

i obtained my results by using the paper centimeter ruler and measuring from capped end to the meniscus of the water.

the data demonstrates that the amount of pressure exerted to the bottle is the same amount of pressure is applied to the vertical tube.
