I am very worried about not completing the first part of the course on time. The problem is I have been very sick this past week and I just now have felt well enough to begin concentrating on schoolwork again which has put me severely behind unfortunately. Normally I am the type of student who finishes her work early but this illness has completely sidelined me for the past week. I was able to finish the orientation part of the course last night but I have yet to finish the Assignments 0 and 1. I know that you normally do not allow extensions for late work because we have such a short time frame to begin with but I was wondering if I could have a few extra days to finish week 1 material or if it would penalize me greatly if I cut my losses now and moved on to week 2 material? Thank you in advance for your understanding.

@& The only deadline I'm really strict about is the end of the semester. There's reasonable flexibility in other deadlines.*@
