The problem:
A ball is moving at 10 cm/s when clock time is 4 seconds, and at 40 cm/s when clock time is 9 seconds.
Sketch a v vs. t graph and represent these two events by the points (4 sec, 10 cm/s) and (9 s, 40 cm/s).
I sketched the graph, one point is kinda at the bottom middle of my graph and the other is at the top right of my graph.
Sketch a straight line segment between these points.
The line in my graph is moving upwards and to the right in my graph.
What are the rise, run and slope of this segment?
Rise represent the change in velocity> 30cm is the difference
Neither quantity on this graph is measured in cm. The rise is 30 cm/s, not 30 cm.
Run represents the change in position> 5 seconds is the difference
Slope represent the Average Acceleration> slope=6cm/s
That would be 6 cm/s/s, or 6 cm/s^2.
What is the area of the graph beneath this segment?
The area of a region beneath the graph represents the change in position.
This question is asking for a specific quantitative answer (using units at every step).

You have a units error in your first set of calculations. See my notes, which I'm sure you will understand.
I'll want a revision of your work on the question about area.
