On a curved graph of velocity vs. time, we can take an infinite amount of points between point a and point b on that graph to find the area or change in position. The area is equal to the change in position. The slope of time(t) is the value of (dv/dt) at that time and is equal to acceleration at that time.

You can let the number of increments approach infinity, but you can't actually use an infinite number of points.

You could be a little more specific about how you would approach the infinite number of points and what aspect of the graph you would be representing.
