Your 'ball down ramp' report has been received. Scroll down through the document to see any comments I might have inserted, and my final comment at the end.
** Your general comment **
** Will a steeper ramp give greater or lesser time? **
I think the time would be the least.
** As slopes increases will time intervals increase, decrease or show no pattern? **
I think the time intervals would be decreasing.

This data is the time it takes for the ball to reach its final resting location from its initial starting position. I collected it by setting up the rig as directed and done 5 time trials then reversed the rig and done 5 more.

Just as I expected I got faster times. I collected the data in the same manner as before.

** Do your results support or fail to support your hypothesis about increasing or decreasing times? **
No. I said the ball would roll faster down the slope as the incline increases. My collected data supports my theory.
** How do you think ave velocity is related to slope? **
Yes, I think the velocity is directly related to the slope of the ramp. The ball is trying to get to a resting spot and the greater the incline the more energy is being released by the forces of gravity pulling it to its natural resting position.
** Speculate on why ave velocity changes with slope. **
As stated above, I think that everything has potential energy and the greater the incline the more potential energy is being released by the pulling of gravity causing the ball to roll faster until it gets to a point where no energy can be released.
** How could you test your speculations? **
U can keep increasing the incline until you get an almost vertical incline to where the ball pratically falls to its resting spot. You will see that the greater the incline the faster the ball will travel.
