1. If you point the rod in the right direction on the table, the table will be level in that direction and the times when the ramp is inclined equally in opposite directions will be equal.
2. Your data will consist of the length and the rise of the ramp in each direction, and the time down the ramp. You will obtain this data for each adjustment of the screw mechanism.
3. From this data you will calculate for each new slope the acceleration of the ball in each direction.
Having obtained this information, we can then do additional analysis.
