These instructions on set-up were kind of confusing since I was trying to find tubes and put them together when they had already been assembled.

** How does the system behave and how does it 'feel'? **

When squeezing the bottle, water rises into the vertical column and the air chamber in the pressure column is compressed due to the increase in pressure.

** Length of the air column in units of your measuring device: **

I chose the 1.5x reduction ruler (I'm assuming). None of my rulers actually have the reduction on them but the one I am using shows 10 cm in what is actually 6.5cm. I chose this ruler because it's still relatively easy to read, while allowing for more precision.

** Your report of the vertical position of the first mark relative to the water surface of the first mark, the length of the air column in units of your selected measuring device, and the two meniscus positions observed with each of your five trials. **

This is the measurement from the meniscus of the water closest to the end to the barrier at the capped end.

** Your report of the vertical position of the second mark relative to the water surface of the first mark, the length of the air column in units of your selected measuring device, and the two meniscus positions observed with each of your five trials. **
