Kinmodel Experiment

course phy 122

Red particle's average time between collisions about a second or less, rarely it might be more. Red particles's average speed is about 1 inch/sec. Blue particle's property that is different from the other particles by it weights more. This is shown in how it moves across the screen. When blue gets hit, it doesnt change direction nearly as much as the other particles do. Red turning to yellow is caused by impact and influence of other velocities. When particles collide, and the velocity transfers the balls turn yellow. When red is yellow it has the property of being affected by other particles velocities. The graphs at the right of the screen indicate the histograms of the velocities of the blue and red particles.

Good. Go ahead and do #3 on this experiment.
