Hi Mr. Smith,I am still unable to download the proper TIMER program from the links you provided even after following all of the steps. Is there a website I can go to to download it or perhaps a similar program? It is preventing me from completing various assignments and I'd like to get started.

@& You might not have the Java runtime environment installed on your computer.
This would be unusual, since that's a standard installation for the Mac. However it's certainly not impossible.
The download is free, and is quick and simple. Just search for 'Java Runtime Environment'.
As simple as this program is, you would think there would be an equivalent program on the Web somewhere. However neither I nor anyone else has been able to find one, which is why we went to the trouble to rewrite it from a Windows-based version to Java so it would be universally available.
As an alternative you could go to just about any public computer and run the TIMER. That would be feasible for the first few activities, and you would see how the program works. In the meantime you could look into installing the Java Runtime Environment.
You should of course check for yourself about the safety of this download.*@
