Test Question
** **
I was just asking a question I found while practicing for test two.
** **
I do not understand the question completely, or I do not understand how to solve it. I'm not sure if the wording is just not clicking and I don't understand, or if I just don't understand how to do the question in general.
** **
I don't quite understand how to approach this test question, and I was wondering if it could be explained because I'm not sure if it's a wording issue or I just can't understand the question:
In terms of the bead model of wave propagation, explain why we would expect the second time derivative of the wave function to be proportional to the second derivative of this function with respect to x (those derivatives should really be called partial derivatives, but at this stage that's just a matter of wording)
@&
You can ignore questions about the bead model. They will be omitted if they show up on your test (unless you happen to solve them correctly, in which can I would of course give you credit).
