PHeT Exercise 2When 4 points are plotted:

Linear: line lies near the 4 points but not on all of them

quadratic: the line curves more towards the end points plotted

cubic:the line fits the points a lot more accuratly

quartic:the line looks almost identical to the cubic fit

when 5 points are plotted:

Linear: line lies near the 5 points but not on all of them

quadratic: the line curves more towards the end points plotted

cubic:the line fits the points a lot more accuratly

quartic:the line looks almost identical to the cubic fit but this time fits the extra point plotted more accurately.

I believe when more points are added and the line of best fit is raised to a higher power(cubic, quartic ect..) it better models the data."
