I'm sorry but I'm not sure what you mean by 'the second part of #1'. I've found the problem but there are many ways to divide that problem into parts.
Can you tell me exactly what it is you are having trouble understanding, and what you thinking is on that part of the problem at this stage? Then I'll be able to address your question. The best I could do right now would be to guess at what you are having trouble with.
