Question: `q4.1.28 (was 4.1.32) Sketch a graph of y =- 4^(-x).
Question: `qHow does this graph compare to that of 5^-x, and why does it compare as it does?
To the left of the y axis the graph of y = 5^-x is 'higher' than that of y = 4^-x. To the right it is lower.

I believe there is a problem with these 2 questions. I assume that is a negative sign in the first one, but in the second question during a comparison between the 2 the negative sign is missing. Is this correct?

@& The main question could be answered either with or without the - sign, since the graph of - 5 ^(-x) is just the 'upside down' version of the 5^(-x) graph.
The key idea is that one graph is steeper than the other for x < -1, while the other is steeper for large values of x.*@
